2022 OCTOBER PROVENCE PART I
“When the Good Lord begins to doubt the world, he remembers that he created Provence”
A timely quote from the aptly named Frédéric Mistral. A notable Occitan poet and promoter of the Occitan language. Coincidentally he shares his name with the fierce northerly wind that periodically distresses the region. It is worth noting neither man nor wind was named after one another (though Frédéric’s wife may disagree).
So as the days lengthen here in Australia and our bodies are set to a new clock (except WA and QLD, awkward…) we bring you a collection of gorgeous leisurely ideas for the new season, shot by the talented James Harvey-Kelly in Mollégès, Provence. Be inspired by a lick of Provençal sun, a casse croute that is nearly as good as Italian food, and coterie of young and healthy looking folk doing really natural poses.
