2026 MAY MEN'S
Ready for action.
The P Johnson men’s Winter collection is ready even though the season itself it seems is not. Regardless, in this collection we have emerged from the trenches with many dutiful outerwear pieces, in all sorts of weights to combat our mixed climes. There are not-so-subtle military undertones in many of these pieces - a pragmatism, born of their necessity, dusty from duty, useful, able and ample. In tailoring we have sought sober colours, dry touch yet dynamic fabrics and some more decadent yet masculine flannels covered with soft and generous coatings.

At the centre is the Campagna coat in an Italian-tanned natural grain leather. The ultimate walking coat, long and lofty with deep pockets and equally deep character. Loaded with subtle details such as breathable cotton blend lining, suede neck contrast, waist drawcord and quietened down with a covered placket. The Campagna also comes in a sportier equivalent - an ultralight plain weave technical fabric from Italy sandwiching a light weight wadding to achieve a very versatile coat. The fabric appears dusty and neutered in complexion and is showerproofed.
In fine lamb suede we have the Senna - a speedy blouson style cropped jacket lined with breathable cotton based twill lining. In a pure design featuring a self elasticated base and two way zip the supple Italian suede is left to do the work.
We have a vest in a rather lush raised pile alpaca-wool blend. A simple and very clean design, far-removed from a rudimentary pelt vest, it is instead a very chic and luxurious piece that will stand alone or add great richness in a layered look.
In denim we have the off-duty Sonny set. A very cool cropped denim jacket with a neck buttoning akin to our Corbu design and three patch pockets. The higher rise yet subtle boot cut jean is a sexier look with memories of Sonny Barger (probably not Sonny Bono so much). As usual the denim is the best Italian organic cotton, and washed using less water than most.
The Boyle shirts have large bellows chest pockets and a square cut, one in a washed-back off white poplin of beautiful character and the other in an earthy and slubbed indigo dyed Egyptian cotton denim (the fabric actually made in Egypt itself). Perfect with the new Sonny jeans.

The Rambler is a stripped-out, buggy lined, single layer coat for inter-seasonal coverage. Made in an Italian cotton-silk-stretch twill it has dynamic drape and movement and will service any wardrobe with a versatile duty. The drab sage green speaks of a life of loyal service. Pull the waist cord and cinch it with leather toggles for more effect and dump your hands in either the deep bellows pockets or the under-chest slant pockets.
For a more urban guerrilla attack we have the unisex Bez. A long parka with hood, cinch waist and a whiff of up-to-no-good about it. It is made in a technical showerproof nylon blend and will wear over anything.
A touch more formally we have introduced Slade - a double faced navy wool-silk blend coat, available made-to-measure. Deploying a splittable fabric here alleviates the need for lining and internal structures and allows this long overcoat a simple and pure in design featuring double breasted fronts and wide peak lapels. It wraps around a suit generously and can be tied off with a removable sash belt - much like a sumptuous outdoor dressing gown of sorts and more charming than a traditionally upright and structured overcoat.
Tailoring looks come in the form of new dry touch Merino crepe twill in sober shades, rich and doughy flannels with broad yet gentle chalk stripes, bulkier 4 ply yarns in herringbones and twills, wide wail Italian corduroys and many other decadent proposals. They are dressed with a variety of imaginative paisley and beautiful cashmere Oxford ties. Shirts in darker shades are machine washable merino fabrics, yielding a sharp yet dry surface impossible to achieve in cotton.
Carry on.
